SkyPort teams with ERF Wireless to Provide Satellite Backup Services to Financial Enterprise Clients

November 08, 2006 – HOUSTON, TEXAS – SkyPort International, a world leader in providing satellite and terrestrial communications services to military and government, energy and enterprise clients, announced today that it has entered into a services supply contract with ERF Wireless (OTCBB: ERFW), the nation’s leading provider of secure wireless networks for the banking industry, to provide critical satellite backup services to ERF’s financial, enterprise and commercial customers.
SkyPort will provide satellite backup that satisfies the requirements of annual disaster recovery plans for banks. Under the terms of the contract, ERF Wireless will resell SkyPort satellite backup capability as a part of its total wireless broadband T1 replacement package. ERF Wireless estimates that the financial services industry offering can provide a gross market potential of $200M annually.
