SkyPort Names New VP, Energy Group

September 28, 2009 – HOUSTON, TEXAS – SkyPort Global Communications, Inc. a worldwide communications carrier providing managed, secure, broadband satellite and terrestrial communication services, announced today the appointment of Tim Webb as VP, Energy Group, to lead its sales and marketing team. This position will be focused on growing SkyPort’s portfolio tailored to the energy markets and increasing SkyPort’s customer base.
Mr. Webb – a seasoned satellite communications professional with over 15 years of industry experience, will have responsibility for this departments solutions offering, sales team development and long term strategy.
